Q: Will the GameCube adapter work with other Wii U games?
A: NO, the GameCube Adapter and GameCube Controllers do not work with other Wii U games, Virtual Console games, or any games played in Wii Mode. For now, this accessory exists only to allow for use of GameCube Controllers when playing “Super Smash Bros. for Wii U”.
Q: Does this adapter work with Smash Ultimate on the switch?
A: I bought this adapter several years ago for Smash on the Wii U but it’s useful for so much more. It also works for Smash Ultimate on the Switch. It’s also supported by several different PC drivers across multiple operating systems (at least Windows and Linux).
