Q: How long have you been using a multipure filter?
A: We have used Multipure filters for many years. We left our first one in the house we sold, and bought this one for the new place. It seems to be identical to the original, and we have been as pleased with the new one as we were with the first. It produces water that tastes great. i have been using an Amway filter system for 34 years.
Q: What is the difference between the Amway and the multipure system?
A: I replaced it with Multipure that uses a stainless steel housing and the same filters as the Amway system. The cost of the unit and replacement filters is less and the filtration improves the taste of the water such it cannot be distinguished from bottled water. Easy to install. The Multipure system uses special fittings to connect the hoses.
Q: What are the multipure fittings?
A: The Multipure system uses special fittings to connect the hoses. I purchased the unit without the fittings thinking i could use my existing fittings but Multipure fittings are not standard.
