Q: What do you think about jebao Circulars?
A: The Jebao circulars look very similar to the Nero 5’s at less than half the cost. Like the Nero’s, they have a very low profile (puck-like) in the tank and are somewhat directional. I have heard they can be noisy, but mine have been very quiet so far (active about 2 weeks now) Good budget wave maker.
Q: Can You mount a powerhead horizontally?
A: You can mount it horizontally, the powerhead is still capable of generating wave motion that provides a lot of surface agitation even though the powerhead is not actually pointing at the water surface. Can’t wait for the day Jebao makes an MP-10 style powerhead 🙂 They are popular for good reason.
