A: FINALLY, I CAN GET GATERON CLEARS FROM A KEYBOARD!!! If only it was ISO… The clears are Gateron’s specialty. If you are looking for switches lighter than Cherry MX Red, Gateron Clear is the answer. I have two gateron clear keyboards, both of them make me happy to work.

A: Aside from volume, SMD and Milky variants of Gateron Clears have a gritty, grainy sound produced when the switch is pressed off center, even when the switch has already been broken in. The sound is quite similar to Outemu Ice V1 and pre-retooled Cherry switches.
