A: The aperture is bright and clear to the eye. We supply this sight with a .155″ (X Large) peep to accommodate the wide factory front sight of the 1860 Rifle. I have been shooting this exact sight (as pictured) on my own 1860 Henry Rifle (44-40) and accuracy is amazing!
