Q: How many nozzles does the Jrod kit come with?
A: Our JROD Kit comes complete with four nozzles ready to install so that you can install them in any order you want. Always be careful using any nozzle on oxidized surfaces as you can cause striping no matter how low of a flow nozzle you use, depending on severity of the oxidation and how close you get to the surface.
Q: What is downstream injection?
A: Downstream injection is a means of applying chemicals with the use of a pressure washer. It is an effective way of applying chemicals, as long as the end solution of the chemical being applied will be effective at dilution rates of 8-1 and higher.
Q: What is a downstream injector on a pressure washer?
A: Downstream injection introduces chemical into the system after the pump, so no chemical is ran through the pressure washer pump itself. A downstream injector works by maintaining a certain PSI on the pump side of the injector by means of an orifice installed into the injector body.
Q: What size nozzle do I need for a pressure washer?
A: The pressure drop in the hose that draws your pre-mixed chemical solution is created by changing your pressure washer’s nozzle to a large orifice nozzle (aka a soaper nozzle). A #40 orifice size nozzle or larger is enough of an increase in size for pressure washers up to 8 GPM to draw chemical.
